Mom Accidentally Ignites The Great Penguin Debacle

Poor mom was just trying to keep the peace amidst her kid having a bit of a breakdown over a toy penguin. Regardless of whether or not the penguin that mom swapped out was actually identical to the other one, it managed to gain disapproval from her husband. The moral judges of Reddit's AITA community seem to be in agreement that mom wasn't in the wrong.

    Font - AITA for "switching" the penguins? Not the A-hole | (28F) have twin boys, Sam and Dominic, they are 5 years old. This afternoon while i was at the pharmacy with the boys they found these toy penguins and instantly became obsessed with them. I really don't understand why, they were just these small beanie baby like penguins. They begged and begged for them and feeling generous i was like sure why not. $2 each to make them happy is a pretty solid deal after all.
